Mehmet Şefik Salcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sarp Atikoğlu in the 29th minute of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Ron Peng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gedeli SK's Ahmet Kutsi İnan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Arif Balkoç got free with Mehmet Şefik Salcan in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Luisito Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Şefik Salcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Suarez scored 3-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Şefik Salcan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
