In the 23rdth minute of the game Jörgen Odeen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eyüp's Cleiton Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarp Savgat in the 29th minute of play forced Karadeniz Ereğli S.K.'s goalkeeper Celal Ağca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 minutes Eyüp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luciano Abraão who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luciano Abraão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eyüp's Cleiton Borges did a great save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karadeniz Ereğli S.K. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
