Arteka FC's Doğuş Baykutay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Erasto in the 15th minute of play. Doğuş Baykutay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Skräddare in the 16th minute of the match. Hakkı Ülgenalp charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hakkı Ülgenalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Arteka FC's Hakkı Ülgenalp got a free kick in the 17th minute. Balkan Defence's Verner Skräddare got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doğuş Baykutay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğuş Baykutay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doğuş Baykutay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doğuş Baykutay came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Balkan Defence's Leonides Erasto. But to his dismay, Leonides Erasto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After the first half Balkan Defence were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Naim Dirsehan was the one to do the kick off. Leonides Erasto scored 0-8 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doğuş Baykutay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonides Erasto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Doğuş Baykutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, Arteka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Ülgenalp to maneuver through the defense. Doğuş Baykutay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salomon Jestin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 68 minute of play. Verner Skräddare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Doğuş Baykutay made a huge save. Arteka FC's Doğuş Baykutay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Arteka FC from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Hadi Ziverbey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Verner Skräddare got free with Doğuş Baykutay in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doğuş Baykutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enginsu Orgunalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Onur Özsahin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doğuş Baykutay. Arteka FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Onur Özsahin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. When the final whistle sounded Balkan Defence left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arteka FC.
