After 22 played minutes kastamonu sk got a freekick which was hit by Yonko Tzvetev. Cemil Kutlughan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Januszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. kastamonu sk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Hristivoj Stoichkov scored to the left of an out of position Cemil Kutlughan, making the score, 1-6. Ekvator Ginesi's Emir Çile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yonko Tzvetev in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Elixio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emir Çile saved Ekvator Ginesi from getting behind. Cemil Kutlughan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hristivoj Stoichkov in the 32nd minute. Cemil Kutlughan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Szczepan Januszewski in the 33rd minute of play. Emir Çile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emrullah Ezrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-8.

When the match was over kastamonu sk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ekvator Ginesi throughout the match.
