Mugur Petcu was slow to take the kick. During this time Punksnotdead's players had a chance to rest. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punksnotdead's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Kocaker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Çakır Hayal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Rodríguez in the 16th minute of play forced Punksnotdead's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Kocaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Rodríguez struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hakkı Onur Kocaker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adapazarı FK. Germano Espinosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Çakır Hayal went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luciano Rodríguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Onur Kocaker having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Çakır Hayal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Adapazarı FK's Germano Espinosa. Germano Espinosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germano Espinosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakır Hayal in the 39th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Rodríguez was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Punksnotdead's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filippo Inzaghi was slow to take the kick. During this time Adapazarı FK's players had a chance to rest. Punksnotdead were furious when Eray Sarik was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Punksnotdead's Eray Sarik got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Çakır Hayal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Ali Saygın took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hakkı Onur Kocaker. Punksnotdead's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Adapazarı FK's goalkeeper Germano Espinosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çakır Hayal. Çakır Hayal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Espinosa having to interfere. A collision led to Punksnotdead getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Birant Bedi hit a great ball. Filippo Inzaghi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hakkı Onur Kocaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Rodríguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Punksnotdead's Leo Mårtensson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Espinosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Adapazarı FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Leo Mårtensson scored to the left of an out of position Germano Espinosa, making the score, 0-4. Punksnotdead's Mugur Petcu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tümer İlsu in the 83 minute of the game. Adapazarı FK's Germano Espinosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çakır Hayal in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Adapazarı FK's Germano Espinosa got control of the ball when Çakır Hayal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Punksnotdead's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugur Petcu in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Mugur Petcu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Adapazarı FK's Germano Espinosa did a great save. Punksnotdead played a much better game than Adapazarı FK and deserved their victory. The Adapazarı FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
