In the 14th minute, Cevdet Muzaffer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baki Hacıoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th match minute, ArtvinHodspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sertel Yamanöz to maneuver through the defense. Cevdet Muzaffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baki Hacıoğlu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Arif Sarper in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaptan Sufi saved sivas divriği from getting behind. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by sivas divriği's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aziz Aynacı was slow to take the kick. During this time ArtvinHodspor's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Ant Kerimhan heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 29 minutes into the game, Ant Kerimhan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ArtvinHodspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sivas divriği the free kick. sivas divriği made a substitution. Çeliker Ruhi replaced Naci Visali. Ant Kerimhan kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Mehmet Arif Sarper blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaptan Sufi having to make a save. 41 minutes into the game, Aziz Aynacı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Arif Sarper to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Berke Tanyolaç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaptan Sufi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kaptan Sufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Arif Sarper in the 53rd minute of the match. Hakkı Kenan Zekeriya hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ahmet Gündüz Canaydin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaptan Sufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Arif Sarper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes ArtvinHodspor got a freekick which was hit by Aziz Aynacı. ArtvinHodspor made a substitution. Nizam Helvacıoğlu replaced Aziz Aynacı. Çeliker Ruhi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Baki Hacıoğlu made a huge save. Mehmet Arif Sarper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaptan Sufi having to interfere. In the 78th minute Bedrettin Karadağ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaptan Sufi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Soner Berkman during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Soner Berkman hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Cevdet Muzaffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baki Hacıoğlu having to interfere. Kaptan Sufi came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by ArtvinHodspor's Sertel Yamanöz. But to his dismay, Sertel Yamanöz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With an all-out effort, sivas divriği's Baki Hacıoğlu threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cevdet Muzaffer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Çeliker Ruhi took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baki Hacıoğlu. Baki Hacıoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Baki Hacıoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Çeliker Ruhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
