The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierrot Van Hove got free with Karlos Vuelta in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Karlos Vuelta to make any attempt to save it. Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Derbentbaşı Spor's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sertel Adıvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuncer Atlıhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mazhar Nuri kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Pierrot Van Hove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Karlos Vuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pierrot Van Hove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, mnzlspor's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan came free, but Karlos Vuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derbentbaşı Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to Derbentbaşı Spor getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Serhan Başarman hit a great ball. Derbentbaşı Spor's Sertel Adıvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullahi Çağlar in the 35th minute of play. Mazhar Nuri charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mazhar Nuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, mnzlspor's Mazhar Nuri got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, mnzlspor's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan came free, but Karlos Vuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Vuelta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Ademir Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sertel Adıvar having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Ademir Bezerra notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Derbentbaşı Spor's Sertel Adıvar. Sertel Adıvar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. mnzlspor's Ademir Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademir Bezerra came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sertel Adıvar could save by the left post. In the 75th minute Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlos Vuelta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allar Veetamm kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Karlos Vuelta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierrot Van Hove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa İzzet Tümerkan in the 86th minute of play forced mnzlspor's goalkeeper Karlos Vuelta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Allar Veetamm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sertel Adıvar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Derbentbaşı Spor got a freekick which was hit by Ali Orhan Hadi. Ahmet Kaya received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sertel Adıvar came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Kaya slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 93rd minute. mnzlspor's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Derbentbaşı Spor had won, even though mnzlspor had held more of the ball.
