In the 11th minute Bahadırhan Önateş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but kaya Özerdinc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Yeşilköyspor got a freekick which was hit by Bahadırhan Önateş. Yeşilköyspor's Acun Tandan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hami Civan in the 13th minute of play. Acun Tandan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mümtazer Soyselçuk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Acun Tandan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hami Civan, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bahadırhan Önateş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Redscorpion's Berkin Başdaş got a free kick in the 52nd minute. kaya Özerdinc was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hayyam Haymanalı. After 59 minutes Redscorpion's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hayyam Haymanalı who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Redscorpion's Babür Hattat got a free kick in the 60th minute. Hayyam Haymanalı was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 87th minute Mümtazer Soyselçuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acun Tandan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Redscorpion's goal looked a bit too open when Kemalettin Taykut came free, but kaya Özerdinc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Redscorpion's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
