After having played for 4 minutes, Fertus Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC KADİRLİ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fertus Alfaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th match minute, FC KADİRLİ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Lucchetti to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes FC KADİRLİ got a freekick which was hit by Kağan Üster. After a rather tough play, GERMİYAN SK's Domingos Abeitia got a free kick in the 20th minute. Despite close surveillance by the defense, Omar Senio managed to send off a shot that put the ball into the goal to the left of a disappointed goalkeeper. 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Wilfried Mrozik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakan Karabasov, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Önder Kamuran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute Ademar de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfried Mrozik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Önder Kamuran made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Kağan Üster sent off a good shot on target. Şevket Bayülgen lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 47th minute, one of FC KADİRLİ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC KADİRLİ. FC KADİRLİ:s Wilfried Mrozik showed great skill when he stopped Hakan Karabasov:s penalty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boguslaw Nieruchliwy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfried Mrozik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakan Karabasov, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, GERMİYAN SK's Arif Gaffar Nadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfried Mrozik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Boguslaw Nieruchliwy managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KADİRLİ's supporters rose to their feet, but Boguslaw Nieruchliwy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of GERMİYAN SK booed when FC KADİRLİ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Türkeş Nefer didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Gaffar Nadi in the 74th minute of play forced FC KADİRLİ's goalkeeper Wilfried Mrozik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Nieruchliwy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 78 minutes into the match, Arif Gaffar Nadi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfried Mrozik. FC KADİRLİ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arif Gaffar Nadi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 82 minutes into the game, Kağan Üster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC KADİRLİ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GERMİYAN SK the free kick. After 82 played minutes FC KADİRLİ got a freekick which was hit by Kağan Üster. Önder Kamuran came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC KADİRLİ's Boguslaw Nieruchliwy. But to his dismay, Boguslaw Nieruchliwy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC KADİRLİ could leave the field as winners, despite GERMİYAN SK having more of the ball for most of the match.
