The supporters of Bordo Mavi booed when ALTIKASIM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Namık Kemal Kadrican didn't get a good kick on the ball. When ALTIKASIM's Antonello Nero in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bordo Mavi's goalie prevented a goal. Celal Kocakalp was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes Bordo Mavi got a freekick which was hit by Celal Kocakalp. Ahmet Ceyhan İlmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Bordo Mavi defense, Antonello Nero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aytaç Dilsafa. The Bordo Mavi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aytaç Dilsafa should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Bordo Mavi's Bekir Zühtü slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ferdi Akergin. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Ferdi Akergin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efe Tamer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Nero in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Bordo Mavi's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Nero came free, but Aytaç Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdi Akergin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Recep Talha Eraltay's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Cahit Arkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdi Akergin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cahit Arkan ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Mustafa Yaşar Balamir put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aytaç Dilsafa. Aytaç Dilsafa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonello Nero, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efe Tamer to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bekir Zühtü in the 52nd minute of play forced ALTIKASIM's goalkeeper Ferdi Akergin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bordo Mavi's Aytaç Dilsafa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Bordo Mavi from getting a goal against them. Ferdi Akergin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efe Tamer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efe Tamer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdi Akergin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efe Tamer in the 64th minute of play. Efe Tamer scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdi Akergin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonello Nero took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aytaç Dilsafa. Aytaç Dilsafa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Efe Tamer succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. Recep Talha Eraltay charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Recep Talha Eraltay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Bordo Mavi got a freekick which was hit by Recep Talha Eraltay. 92 minutes into the game, ALTIKASIM's Antonello Nero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aytaç Dilsafa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. 96 minutes into the match, Bordo Mavi's goal looked a bit too open when Antonello Nero came free, but Aytaç Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ALTIKASIM eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
