Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arkadiy Kontorschikov got the match started through his kick off. Eduard Hayaletdinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arkadiy Kontorschikov in the 3rd minute of play. Leonid Lebedev was a little too slow when Matvey Baka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 8th minute, Kirill Kayumov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonid Lebedev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ivanovo HC's Eduard Hayaletdinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Korsakov in the 16th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Yoshkar-Ola got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Bilik. 22 minutes into the match, Ivanovo HC's Kirill Kayumov broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Ivanovo HC booed when Yoshkar-Ola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Grishankov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard Hayaletdinov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiy Kontorschikov's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. A collision led to Yoshkar-Ola getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Konstantin Grishankov hit a great ball. Yuriy Kozhakov kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Yoshkar-Ola booed when Ivanovo HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matvey Belyavskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Yoshkar-Ola's Arkadiy Kontorschikov made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduard Hayaletdinov was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Yoshkar-Ola's Leonid Lebedev got control of the ball when Kirill Kayumov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kirill Kayumov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Matvey Baka took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Leonid Lebedev to make any attempt to save it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matvey Baka made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ivanovo HC's Denis Pereturin got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ivanovo HC's Eduard Hayaletdinov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ivanovo HC from getting a goal against them. Matvey Baka kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Leonid Lebedev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirill Kayumov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Arkadiy Kontorschikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Hayaletdinov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Matvey Baka came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Ivanovo HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matvey Baka couldn't finish the play. Leonid Lebedev came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ivanovo HC's Kirill Kayumov. But to his dismay, Kirill Kayumov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Yuriy Kozhakov hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Arkadiy Kontorschikov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Eduard Hayaletdinov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstantin Korsakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Eduard Hayaletdinov made a huge save. In the 92nd match minute, Yoshkar-Ola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantin Grishankov to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Yoshkar-Ola players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ivanovo HC.
