An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Esipov in the 21st minute of play forced Mezhdurechensk's goalkeeper Aleksandr Kostin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kirbabaev FC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Kirbabaev FC's Albert Esipov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 26 minutes, Mikhail Bogrov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evgeniy Kudryavtsev to make the kick off. In the 94th minute Georgiy Grishin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danila Belousov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Mezhdurechensk got a freekick which was hit by Afanasiy Kulakov. After a defensive mix-up in Mezhdurechensk's zone, Sergey Ignatiev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksandr Kostin came out of the goal and Sergey Ignatiev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kirbabaev FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
