The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Danger FC's Aws Al Wazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yousef Al Holey in the 4th minute of play. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Yousef Al Holey sped through Danger FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aws Al Wazan. Aws Al Wazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farooq Shadad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Danger FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ayoob Al Banwan to maneuver through the defense. Farooq Shadad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aws Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Desert Sand AFC's goalkeeper Shaheen Al Hashash, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Talib Baroun hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Farooq Shadad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aws Al Wazan having to interfere. Aws Al Wazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Farooq Shadad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faleh Al Youha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Shaheen Al Hashash made a huge save. Aws Al Wazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Farooq Shadad in the 40th minute of the match. If Yousef Al Holey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desert Sand AFC's Shaheen Al Hashash proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Desert Sand AFC from getting a goal against them. After the first half Desert Sand AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yousef Al Holey was the one to do the kick off. Farooq Shadad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aws Al Wazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faleh Al Youha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Desert Sand AFC booed when Danger FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yousef Al Hindi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yousef Al Holey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Farooq Shadad struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Aws Al Wazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desert Sand AFC. Aws Al Wazan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yousef Al Holey, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 75 played minutes Desert Sand AFC got a freekick which was hit by Firas Baroun. Faleh Al Youha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Shaheen Al Hashash tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farooq Shadad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
