Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wakadinali's Duncan Njenga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. John Lagat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dennis Mumba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waruhiu Kibiwott hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. John Lagat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Mumba having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Liverpool's Zablon Otieno got a free kick in the 9th minute. Wakadinali's Duncan Njenga got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dennis Mumba was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and John Bilali capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. John Bilali really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 21st minute John Masai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samson Kobia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Masai's late challenge caught a Liverpool's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Masai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, John Masai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liverpool's John Lagat got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, John Lagat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wakadinali's goalkeeper Dennis Mumba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Liverpool booed when Wakadinali was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Sang didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when John Bilali made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Wakadinali's Duncan Njenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samson Kobia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dennis Mumba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Bilali in the 64th minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Liverpool's John Bilali made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dennis Mumba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Duncan Njenga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samson Kobia having to make a save. In the 77th minute Duncan Njenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samson Kobia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liverpool's Samson Kobia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duncan Njenga in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Liverpool's goalkeeper Samson Kobia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If John Masai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Samson Kobia made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when John Masai sent off a good shot on target. John Bilali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liverpool fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wakadinali had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
