Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mike Kevoo made the kick off which started today's match. Cyrus Israel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Antony Oliech skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 11th minute, Cyrus Israel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cyrus Israel scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antony Oliech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yobes Wambua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mike Kevoo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Kevoo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Robert Kosgei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antony Oliech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyrus Israel in the 25th minute. Ashton Under Hill AFC's Antony Oliech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ashton Under Hill AFC from getting a goal against them. When Blackheath's Robert Kosgei in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashton Under Hill AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Antony Oliech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Kosgei, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Cyrus Israel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Antony Oliech made a huge save. In the 37th minute Robert Kosgei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antony Oliech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Nzeki kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Cyrus Israel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Oliech having to interfere. Mike Kevoo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Yobes Wambua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ashton Under Hill AFC. 48 minutes into the game, Benjamin Kiprop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blackheath's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ashton Under Hill AFC the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Blackheath was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Kiprop to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ashton Under Hill AFC's Henry Nyamau tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Robert Kosgei made the kick off in the second half. When Kipchoge Ndereba fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ashton Under Hill AFC's protests and gave Kipchoge Ndereba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Kipchoge Ndereba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Robert Kosgei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the game, Mike Kevoo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ashton Under Hill AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blackheath the free kick. Henry Nyamau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yobes Wambua. Blackheath's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Blackheath's Mwai Emilio Odinga got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Blackheath's Yobes Wambua got control of the ball when John Karimi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Kosgei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mike Kevoo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yobes Wambua came out and tried to block the shot, but Mike Kevoo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 87th minute. In the 95th minute of the match Henry Nyamau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yobes Wambua showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 98 minutes into the game, John Karimi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Yobes Wambua was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ashton Under Hill AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
