An unexpectedly hard shot by Micheal Rutto in the 7th minute of play forced Accrington's goalkeeper Maurice Masai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If John Ocholla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Owino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Masai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micheal Rutto in the 15th minute of play. Maurice Masai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammed Rudisha, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Micheal Rutto came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the F.C. KipKøntë fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micheal Rutto couldn't finish the play. Walter Rop's late challenge caught a Accrington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. KipKøntë's Walter Rop was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Ocholla to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Accrington's zone, Robert Owino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurice Masai came out of the goal and Robert Owino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Robert Owino took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Maurice Masai to make any attempt to save it. Accrington's Maurice Masai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Accrington from getting a goal against them. When Robert Owino came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the F.C. KipKøntë fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Owino couldn't finish the play. Accrington's supporters rose to their feet, but John Ocholla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Njoroge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Njoroge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Ocholla, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. F.C. KipKøntë played a much better game than Accrington and deserved their victory. The Accrington players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
