Spectators: 8600 (Terracing: 6500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Whitton's Kipchoge Wambua started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Fazul Odeke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solfam fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitton the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Solfam fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fazul Odeke to maneuver through the defense. David Mwangi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kipchoge Wambua, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Solfam fc's Kipchoge Lukoye got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrick Israel scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Mwangi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Mwangi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kipchoge Wambua in the 14th minute of the match. Wilson Kigotho struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. John Origi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solfam fc. John Origi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Swaleh Chemjor in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Swaleh Chemjor put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of John Origi. 28 minutes into the match, Solfam fc's Moses Imathiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Origi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Swaleh Chemjor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Naftali Ogot kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Swaleh Chemjor in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Origi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Solfam fc's David Mwangi got control of the ball when Douglas Waroo tried to sneak it across the goal line. John Origi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Kigotho in the 37th minute of the match. Kipchoge Lukoye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Origi having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Swaleh Chemjor was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Whitton's John Origi got control of the ball when Swaleh Chemjor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Swaleh Chemjor lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated John Origi. Swaleh Chemjor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Origi having to interfere. John Origi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Swaleh Chemjor in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Solfam fc getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Paul Kariuki hit a great ball. Swaleh Chemjor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kipchoge Lukoye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Solfam fc's John Origi threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Swaleh Chemjor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 73rd minute, Wilson Kigotho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Solfam fc's goal looked a bit too open when Kipchoge Wambua came free, but David Mwangi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Mwangi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kipchoge Wambua in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrick Israel in the 78th minute of play forced Solfam fc's goalkeeper David Mwangi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Swaleh Chemjor got free with John Origi in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Kigotho kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Whitton's Kipchoge Wambua got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Solfam fc's zone, Kipchoge Wambua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Mwangi came out of the goal and Kipchoge Wambua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moses Imathiu got free with John Origi in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Origi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kipchoge Lukoye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Whitton getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Julius Oliech hit a great ball. Fredrick Israel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Kipchoge Lukoye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Origi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solfam fc played a much better game than Whitton and deserved their victory. The Whitton players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
