All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. John Ocholla was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Kipketer couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bridgnorth's zone, Michael Osoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Mbugua came out of the goal and Michael Osoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 minutes of play Accrington's Vincent Wambua was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Bridgnorth getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dedan Ngeny hit a great ball. Francis Mbugua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Controller Valdo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Maurice Masai made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Felix Kipketer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Accrington's zone, Felix Kipketer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurice Masai came out of the goal and Felix Kipketer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francis Mbugua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Osoro in the 97th minute of play. Bridgnorth's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
