Spectators: 9384 (Terracing: 7040, Seating: 2158, VIP seats: 186) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Philip Oundo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jeruto Muttendago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Oundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mike Waweru came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Bayswater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Waweru couldn't finish the play. When Wilfred Matiba fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Settle's protests and gave Wilfred Matiba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Wilfred Matiba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute George Wanjiru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hezekiah Java saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hezekiah Java was a little too slow when George Wanjiru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Hezekiah Java made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Wanjiru in the 17th minute of play. Jeruto Muttendago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Oundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julius Leakey hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Kipchoge Oloo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeruto Muttendago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Bayswater's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfred Matiba came free, but Jeruto Muttendago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeruto Muttendago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfred Matiba in the 42nd minute of the match. Jeruto Muttendago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Mulama went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when George Wanjiru made the kick off in the second half. Settle's Hezekiah Java played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Wanjiru in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Wilfred Matiba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeruto Muttendago was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Wilfred Matiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfred Matiba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jeruto Muttendago firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jeruto Muttendago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Mulama in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes Bayswater got a freekick which was hit by Robert Kiprop. If Philip Oundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeruto Muttendago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philip Oundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 76 minutes on the clock, Tony Githinji Obala commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 76th minute, one of Bayswater:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bayswater. In the 78th minute of the game, Settle got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. With an all-out effort, Settle's Jeruto Muttendago threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Philip Oundo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. George Wanjiru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Wanjiru in the 98th minute of play forced Settle's goalkeeper Hezekiah Java to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
