Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joab Hammerstein took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Shorashim got a freekick which was hit by Karni Sulzberger. In the 5th minute, Hezekiah Goren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shorashim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Joab Hammerstein struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Doren Zafrani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shezor. If Ron Erez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Yavin Rochlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shorashim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shezor the free kick. Yavin Rochlin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ron Erez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Doren Zafrani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaim Beracha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Margolis having to interfere. If Ron Erez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shorashim! Doren Zafrani had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Rafa Halberstam's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Shezor's Rafa Halberstam made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doren Zafrani was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Ron Erez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doren Zafrani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ron Erez in the 30th minute of play. Ron Erez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Doren Zafrani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doren Zafrani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jether Neuberger's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaim Beracha in the 37th minute of play forced Shezor's goalkeeper Marco Margolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shezor's Ron Erez got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ron Erez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Doren Zafrani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chaim Beracha to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Joab Hammerstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doren Zafrani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hezekiah Goren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Margolis having to interfere. A collision led to Shezor getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Shaked Abel hit a great ball. If Chaim Beracha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute, Hezekiah Goren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Margolis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chaim Beracha's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 75 played minutes Shezor got a freekick which was hit by Tsafrir Golob. 80 minutes into the match, Ron Erez notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Shorashim's Doren Zafrani. Doren Zafrani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the game, Hezekiah Goren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shorashim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shezor the free kick. Hezekiah Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Marco Margolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hezekiah Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Hezekiah Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shorashim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hezekiah Goren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joab Hammerstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Doren Zafrani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Shezor's Ron Erez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doren Zafrani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Shezor played a much better game than Shorashim and deserved their victory. The Shorashim players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
