Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stepanakert's Xidir Manafov got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Xidir Manafov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaqub Xudaverdiyev was a little too slow when Arzuman Abdurähmanov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 19 played minutes Xırdalan Birliyi got a freekick which was hit by Rämzi Zeynälzadä. In the 20th minute Cahan Bayramzadä shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Näsib Utanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yaqub Xudaverdiyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arzuman Abdurähmanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Xırdalan Birliyi got a freekick which was hit by Elgiz Äbdüläzimov. Emin Väliyev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rämzi Zeynälzadä got free with Yaqub Xudaverdiyev in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xidir Manafov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Xırdalan Birliyi's goal looked a bit too open when Feyruz Budaqov came free, but Näsib Utanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Stepanakert's Emin Väliyev in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xırdalan Birliyi's goalie prevented a goal. Stepanakert's Emin Väliyev got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xırdalan Birliyi's Näsib Utanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feyruz Budaqov in the 38th minute of play. Niyazi Yolçiyev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yaqub Xudaverdiyev having to interfere. Ramiz Babakişiyev charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiz Babakişiyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Ramiz Babakişiyev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emin Väliyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arzuman Abdurähmanov was the one to do the kick off. Xidir Manafov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the game, Feyruz Budaqov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Näsib Utanov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the game, Xırdalan Birliyi's Arzuman Abdurähmanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yaqub Xudaverdiyev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Xidir Manafov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feyruz Budaqov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cahan Bayramzadä received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Näsib Utanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emin Väliyev struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Näsib Utanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stepanakert. The supporters of Stepanakert booed when Xırdalan Birliyi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiz Babakişiyev didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Arzuman Abdurähmanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xırdalan Birliyi and the Stepanakert players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Xırdalan Birliyi got a freekick which was hit by Arzuman Abdurähmanov. Cahan Bayramzadä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Näsib Utanov having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emin Väliyev in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Näsib Utanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yaqub Xudaverdiyev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arzuman Abdurähmanov in the 88th minute of play. Yaqub Xudaverdiyev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rämzi Zeynälzadä went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Yaqub Xudaverdiyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niyazi Yolçiyev in the 93rd minute of the match. The Xırdalan Birliyi support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
