In the 8th minute Talib Camalov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elnur Äsädov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bärdä's goalkeeper Elnur Äsädov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Şirvan SFC's goal looked a bit too open when Seyfäddin Sälimov came free, but Cabbar Mayilov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Şirvan SFC's zone, Seyfäddin Sälimov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cabbar Mayilov came out of the goal and Seyfäddin Sälimov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ähmädağa Färruxov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Cabbar Mayilov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyfäddin Sälimov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cabbar Mayilov having to interfere. Araz Salahov's late challenge caught a Şirvan SFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Araz Salahov helped the player get up and apologised. Talib Camalov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elnur Äsädov having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Talib Camalov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hacı Paşayev's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Elnur Äsädov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ähmädağa Färruxov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bärdä's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Talib Camalov scored to the left of an out of position Elnur Äsädov, making the score, 0-1. In the 63rd minute, Cümşüd Gülmämmädov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Şirvan SFC's Cabbar Mayilov didn't even have to move. 67 minutes into the match, Bärdä's goalkeeper Elnur Äsädov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hacı Paşayev. 69 minutes into the match, Şirvan SFC's Talib Camalov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elnur Äsädov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cabbar Mayilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seyfäddin Sälimov in the 70th minute of the match. Elnur Äsädov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Talib Camalov's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 75th match minute, Şirvan SFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Äbülfät Vermäliyev to maneuver through the defense. When Seyfäddin Sälimov came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Bärdä fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyfäddin Sälimov couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Talib Camalov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elnur Äsädov was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Hacı Paşayev scored 0-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elnur Äsädov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ähmädağa Färruxov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cabbar Mayilov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Talib Camalov in the 96th minute of play forced Bärdä's goalkeeper Elnur Äsädov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bärdä getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Idris Alverdiyev hit a great ball. The Şirvan SFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Şirvan SFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
