Adel Aghili showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yahya Hasanlou during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bamdad Khalatbari hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bardia Taherpour stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adel Aghili's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
