Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iman Tamadon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sohrab Ahmadzadeh kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Iman Tamadon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hadi Emad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Hirad Lankarani managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Shields's supporters rose to their feet, but Hirad Lankarani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gholam Naghdabadi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bahram Esfahani in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gholam Naghdabadi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sadra Hasanlou charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sadra Hasanlou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Heybridge Basin FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sadra Hasanlou hit a great ball. Parham Khalatbari's shot from long distance in the 16th minute was not bad at all, but Heybridge Basin FC's Gholam Naghdabadi knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After having played for 19 minutes, Hadi Emad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heybridge Basin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hadi Emad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Hadi Emad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rashid Kaebi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Heybridge Basin FC's Hadi Emad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rashid Kaebi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rashid Kaebi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Heybridge Basin FC's Iman Tamadon. But to his dismay, Iman Tamadon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 36 played minutes Heybridge Basin FC got a freekick which was hit by Navid Babakan. When Bahram Esfahani came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the South Shields fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahram Esfahani couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Hirad Lankarani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gholam Naghdabadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play Heybridge Basin FC's Sadra Hasanlou was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 45th match minute, Heybridge Basin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadra Hasanlou to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, South Shields's Hirad Lankarani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gholam Naghdabadi. Gholam Naghdabadi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hirad Lankarani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Heybridge Basin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaya Bazargan to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hadi Emad got free with Rashid Kaebi in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vafa Taleblou kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Heybridge Basin FC's zone, Bahram Esfahani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gholam Naghdabadi came out of the goal and Bahram Esfahani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hadi Emad's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Rashid Kaebi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot by Milad Mansouri from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Rashid Kaebi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hirad Lankarani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gholam Naghdabadi having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Salar Azizi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. South Shields's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heybridge Basin FC the free kick. A collision led to South Shields getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Salar Azizi hit a great ball. Gholam Naghdabadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahram Esfahani in the 79th minute of the match. If Bahram Esfahani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Heybridge Basin FC's goalkeeper Gholam Naghdabadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, South Shields's Hirad Lankarani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gholam Naghdabadi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Heybridge Basin FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
