Hami Taghavian kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Thurnscoe's goal looked a bit too open when Shaheen Kianian came free, but Hooshyar Sadeqi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, Waterfoot FC's Bamdad Artoonian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hooshyar Sadeqi was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Waterfoot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arshia Asslibasab came free, but Shervin Shams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arshia Asslibasab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Shervin Shams tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thurnscoe's Hooshyar Sadeqi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shaheen Kianian in the 19th minute of play. When Akbar Shakouri fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thurnscoe's protests and gave Akbar Shakouri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Thurnscoe getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Akbar Shakouri hit a great ball. Bamdad Artoonian took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hooshyar Sadeqi. Hooshyar Sadeqi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bamdad Artoonian's late challenge caught a Thurnscoe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bamdad Artoonian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Bamdad Artoonian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bamdad Artoonian was shown his second yellow card after 33 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Shaheen Kianian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hami Taghavian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamran Rahnama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hooshyar Sadeqi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behrang Homayoun in the 45th minute of play. If Behrang Homayoun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Akbar Shakouri made a kick off. Waterfoot FC's Hami Taghavian got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Hami Taghavian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hooshyar Sadeqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hooshyar Sadeqi made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Shaheen Kianian sent off a good shot on target. Arshia Asslibasab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shervin Shams having to interfere. Shaheen Kianian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Hami Taghavian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hooshyar Sadeqi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Shaheen Kianian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hooshyar Sadeqi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 67 minutes into the match, Arshia Asslibasab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shervin Shams. Waterfoot FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arshia Asslibasab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Pejman Homayoun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Behrang Homayoun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Hooshyar Sadeqi made a huge save. Hami Taghavian's late challenge caught a Thurnscoe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hami Taghavian helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Waterfoot FC's Hami Taghavian got a free kick in the 84th minute. Waterfoot FC's Shervin Shams played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bardia Kaebi in the 86th minute of play. If Akbar Shakouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 minutes of play, Waterfoot FC's Behrang Homayoun made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hooshyar Sadeqi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pejman Homayoun charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pejman Homayoun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Thurnscoe booed when Waterfoot FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pejman Homayoun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Waterfoot FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Thurnscoe.
