Gholam Bozorgzadeh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Yashar Shahabnia was a little too slow when Nariman Karimi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-1. Yashar Shahabnia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mani Ghanad in the 12th minute. A hard shot 16 in the game by Mani Ghanad from a close distance when the talented Yashar Shahabnia managed to make a qualified save. Weymouth's players were relieved. When Sohrab Nekounam in the 17th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Yashar Shahabnia kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Yashar Shahabnia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sohrab Nekounam in the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, South Shields's Mani Ghanad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yashar Shahabnia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hafez Parsivand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gholam Bozorgzadeh having to interfere. Gholam Bozorgzadeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hafez Parsivand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The South Shields fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when South Shields's Sohrab Nekounam looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Weymouth's Taher Gohari got a free kick in the 37th minute. Sohrab Nekounam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yashar Shahabnia having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sohrab Nekounam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yashar Shahabnia was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Nariman Karimi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sohrab Nekounam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yashar Shahabnia. That made the score 4-1 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hafez Parsivand made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Sohrab Nekounam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Shields's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sohrab Nekounam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Mani Ghanad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yashar Shahabnia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When South Shields's Sohrab Nekounam in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weymouth's goalie prevented a goal. If Sohrab Nekounam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. South Shields's Gholam Bozorgzadeh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save South Shields from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute, Farjad Bazargan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morteza Tabari struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gholam Bozorgzadeh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weymouth. 86 minutes into the match, Weymouth's goal looked a bit too open when Sohrab Nekounam came free, but Yashar Shahabnia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jahanshah Nourian charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jahanshah Nourian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jahanshah Nourian hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Weymouth's goal looked a bit too open when Mani Ghanad came free, but Yashar Shahabnia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yashar Shahabnia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nariman Karimi in the 91st minute of the match. Yashar Shahabnia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mani Ghanad, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the South Shields players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
