In the 15th minute Sohrab Nekounam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naser Jalaeepour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, South Shields's Sohrab Nekounam made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The Gholam Bozorgzadeh was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, South Shields's Mani Ghanad made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naser Jalaeepour was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gholam Bozorgzadeh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiarash Javaheri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. South Shields's Mani Ghanad got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. South Shields's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
