Purples fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mohammad Reza Karobi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makan Sanei in the 14th minute of play. If Koohyar Artoonian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daryoush Zahraei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kianoosh Khalatbari having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as sam Abadian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kianoosh Khalatbari. That made the score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. Petros United's Siamak Fazel got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tirdad Pashazadeh's late challenge caught a Petros United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tirdad Pashazadeh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, A.C. Purples was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tirdad Pashazadeh to maneuver through the defense. Tirdad Pashazadeh kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Siamak Fazel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.C. Purples's Makan Sanei got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A hard shot 52 in the game by Koohyar Artoonian from a close distance when the talented Mohammad Reza Karobi managed to make a qualified save. Petros United's players were relieved. 54 minutes into the game, A.C. Purples's Koohyar Artoonian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mohammad Reza Karobi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Kianoosh Khalatbari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siamak Fazel in the 58th minute of play. With a little luck, Petros United's Mohammad Reza Karobi got control of the ball when Koohyar Artoonian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tirdad Pashazadeh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammad Reza Karobi having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Behnam Memarzadeh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kianoosh Khalatbari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siamak Fazel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Koohyar Artoonian made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Petros United's Mohammad Reza Karobi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Koohyar Artoonian came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the A.C. Purples fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koohyar Artoonian couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Hadi Taleblou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Petros United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Purples the free kick. Iraj Hasanzadeh missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 77 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mohammad Reza Karobi right hand side. Mohammad Reza Karobi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Amir Parsa Bozorgzadeh. Koohyar Artoonian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siamak Fazel in the 86th minute of play forced A.C. Purples's goalkeeper Kianoosh Khalatbari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.C. Purples's Kianoosh Khalatbari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by sam Abadian in the 92nd minute of play. Kianoosh Khalatbari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siamak Fazel in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A.C. Purples had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
