An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Bashar Al Dosery got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Shehab Al Sharah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bashar Al Dosery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Shehab Al Sharah successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bashar Al Dosery might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shehab Al Sharah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bashar Al Dosery ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 62 minutes, Abdullah Al Holey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khalifa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdullah Al Holey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
