The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Basem Al Hashash scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Hermes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo Corderun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cesar Galoer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spiros Nikolakopoulos hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes MCFC ᴳ⁸³ got a freekick which was hit by Roger Pullen. 26 minutes into the match, MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s goal looked a bit too open when Anas Al Balool came free, but Roger Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roger Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basem Al Hashash in the 29th minute of the match. Anas Al Balool hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Marciano Macon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesar Galoer was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s Rida Al Hajri seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rida Al Hajri the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MCFC ᴳ⁸³ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rida Al Hajri had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 played minutes MCFC ᴳ⁸³ got a freekick which was hit by Rida Al Hajri. Majed Jiragh was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Cesar Galoer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Pullen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Khalefa Al Sharah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roger Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gulf Heroes T.N.A's Fahad Al Ansari suffered a concussion after 47 minutes and had to leave the field. Hao Jian charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hao Jian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Macon to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Macon in the 53rd minute of play forced Gulf Heroes T.N.A's goalkeeper Cesar Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hao Jian hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes MCFC ᴳ⁸³ got a freekick which was hit by Spiros Nikolakopoulos. Cesar Galoer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Macon in the 59th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ameer Al Muwail during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gulf Heroes T.N.A getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ameer Al Muwail hit a great ball. Seraj Bo Resley struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Cesar Galoer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MCFC ᴳ⁸³. Cesar Galoer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hao Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s Spiros Nikolakopoulos got a free kick in the 74th minute. Cesar Galoer came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s Marciano Macon. But to his dismay, Marciano Macon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Anas Al Balool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Macon in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Galoer saved Gulf Heroes T.N.A from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s goalkeeper Roger Hermes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Khalefa Al Sharah. Roger Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anas Al Balool in the 84th minute. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Anas Al Balool sped through MCFC ᴳ⁸³'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roger Hermes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Macon in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Galoer saved Gulf Heroes T.N.A from getting behind. When the match was over Gulf Heroes T.N.A could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MCFC ᴳ⁸³ throughout the match.
