Donato Pellecchia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Msaed Kakoli went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Donato Pellecchia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eshaq Abol, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basem Al Khaled in the 29th minute of play forced Al Whada FC's goalkeeper David Drent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Msaed Kakoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute of the match, Aadil Al Balool tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Donato Pellecchia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Donato Pellecchia came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Al Whada FC's Aadil Al Balool. But to his dismay, Aadil Al Balool quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. PAOK FC's Fawzy Boften quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moner Hayat, made in the 69th minute of the game. Msaed Kakoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahdi Al Sallal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Drent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Al Whada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mahdi Al Sallal came free, but David Drent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salah Al Sarraf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Donato Pellecchia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Msaed Kakoli kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. PAOK FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Al Whada FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
