The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Faris Boland scored 0-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adnan Al Motar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nader Abol charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, SALT's Adnan Al Motar got control of the ball when Faris Boland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esmael Al Sherazi hit a great ball. Darweesh Al Ammar kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute, SALT's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Haider Hayat fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
