Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stepan Churzin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adam Babkin scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efim Degtyarenko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th match minute, Northampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatoliy Karakosov to maneuver through the defense. Vladislav Gurin came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Efim Degtyarenko could save by the left post. Evgeniy Kazenin might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oleg Izyumov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evgeniy Kazenin ran back to his position shaking his head. Evgeniy Kazenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Crediton City's zone, Yakov Lyabakh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efim Degtyarenko came out of the goal and Yakov Lyabakh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Crediton City's Roman Kachan got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Timofey Mosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Northampton's zone, Stepan Churzin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Izyumov came out of the goal and Stepan Churzin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oleg Izyumov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirill Golubkin in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Babkin in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efim Degtyarenko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute Stepan Churzin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oleg Izyumov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Northampton got a freekick which was hit by Lev Vinogradov. Vladislav Gurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Efim Degtyarenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Timofey Mosin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Babkin was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Crediton City got a freekick which was hit by Vsevolod Vasin. When Northampton's Vladislav Gurin in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crediton City's goalie prevented a goal. Northampton's Adam Babkin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Crediton City's zone, Vladislav Gurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efim Degtyarenko came out of the goal and Vladislav Gurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes Northampton got a freekick which was hit by Lev Vinogradov. Oleg Izyumov made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Timofey Lytkin sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Vladislav Gurin sped through Crediton City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Efim Degtyarenko. After 68 minutes, Vladislav Gurin made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Crediton City's Efim Degtyarenko tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Vladislav Gurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Efim Degtyarenko was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Vladislav Gurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Degtyarenko having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Yakov Lyabakh put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Efim Degtyarenko. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Adam Babkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northampton's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Babkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efim Degtyarenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Crediton City getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emmanuil Cherushov hit a great ball. Efim Degtyarenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladislav Gurin's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Adam Babkin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Efim Degtyarenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Crediton City's Stepan Churzin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oleg Izyumov. Oleg Izyumov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in Northampton's zone, Stepan Churzin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Izyumov came out of the goal and Stepan Churzin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yakov Lyabakh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efim Degtyarenko having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Northampton had played much better football throughout.
