Aleksey Koni kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Jon Cardeño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Kapustin in the 29th minute of the match. Rudolf Fomichev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georgiy Vekshin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrey Zurabov in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Cardeño saved Kazajistán Youngs Boys from getting behind. Andrey Zurabov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon Cardeño having to make a save. With a little luck, Shaftesbury's Rudolf Fomichev got control of the ball when Ippolit Novikov tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The shot was a little too simple and Jon Cardeño could save by the left post. Jon Cardeño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrey Zurabov in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Shaftesbury's goal looked a bit too open when Georgiy Vekshin came free, but Rudolf Fomichev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shaftesbury played a much better game than Kazajistán Youngs Boys and deserved their victory. The Kazajistán Youngs Boys players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
