Viktor Zenin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Zenin in the 25th minute of play forced Wanborough AFC's goalkeeper Mikhail Kondratiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Excelsior FC's Gennadiy Lihachev got a free kick in the 31st minute. Mikhail Kondratiev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Zenin in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Wanborough AFC's Nikolay Borisenko got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maksim Volosov to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Wanborough AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Yuriy Klichko hit a great ball. Vikentiy Kopeikin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Lasunskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Mikhail Kondratiev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dmitriy Homchenko's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wanborough AFC's zone, Viktor Zenin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikhail Kondratiev came out of the goal and Viktor Zenin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vikentiy Kopeikin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dmitriy Lasunskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, Wanborough AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuil Dolinin to maneuver through the defense. Dmitriy Lasunskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vikentiy Kopeikin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Vikentiy Kopeikin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Lasunskiy in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Viktor Zenin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Wanborough AFC's Yuriy Klichko got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes in the game Dmitriy Homchenko got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Maksim Volosov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikhail Kondratiev having to interfere. Excelsior FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
