Damian Perico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Gdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Alay Bishkek getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jens Hirsch hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Bondarev was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Bondarev got free with Damian Perico in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bulut Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haşim Alan's late challenge caught a Alay Bishkek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dmitriy Plotnikov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mümtazer Hadim. Alay Bishkek's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alay Bishkek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
