To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dylan Markham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Bromley in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Matthew Wall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tod Brazier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Markham having to interfere. Bill Almond took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dylan Markham. BEŞİKTAŞ FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Ralf Osborn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny McGrath in the 52nd minute of play. Karl Bromley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvester Colton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan Markham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Karl Bromley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Withington United's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Bromley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Markham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylan Markham came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Withington United's Karl Bromley. But to his dismay, Karl Bromley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 81 played minutes Withington United got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Wall. Dylan Markham was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Karl Bromley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl Bromley really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. When Silvester Colton came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Withington United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvester Colton couldn't finish the play. Dylan Markham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Bromley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
