Atal Mishra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bisvajita Kamle in the 15th minute of the match. Bisvajita Kamle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atal Mishra having to interfere. Adipa Upadhyay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adipa Upadhyay let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 23rd minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. In the 26th minute, Newlyn East AFC's Bisvajita Kamle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adipa Upadhyay got free with Atal Mishra in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Newlyn East AFC's Bisvajita Kamle in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cottingham's goalie prevented a goal. Adipa Upadhyay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Atal Mishra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anudvega Haito kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Maninder Sangha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cottingham's supporters rose to their feet, but Maninder Sangha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cidambara Tangadavi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cottingham's zone, Arvacina Chand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atal Mishra came out of the goal and Arvacina Chand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Atal Mishra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adipa Upadhyay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bisvajita Kamle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Atal Mishra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adipa Upadhyay scored 4-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atal Mishra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Adipa Upadhyay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newlyn East AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adipa Upadhyay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atal Mishra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Newlyn East AFC's Adipa Upadhyay in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The coaching staff of Newlyn East AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anudvega Haito had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Newlyn East AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Cottingham a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maninder Sangha, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Newlyn East AFC's Cidambara Tangadavi. 4-1. Bisvajita Kamle might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atal Mishra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bisvajita Kamle ran back to his position shaking his head. Arvacina Chand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atal Mishra having to interfere. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
