Edhita Wahlia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hyper United's Agnibija Malhotra shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ansa Grewal but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Market Drayton City's Ansa Grewal got control of the ball when Jaswinder Bhangu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Hyper United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Chananjeet Dua hit a great ball. In the 17th minute of the match Aurasa Chattophadhyay shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edhita Wahlia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bhrngara Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edhita Wahlia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dayaram Gupta's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Bhrngara Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Vasant Malhotra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyper United's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasant Malhotra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ansa Grewal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bhrngara Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Edhita Wahlia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bhrngara Mendes in the 36th minute of play forced Hyper United's goalkeeper Edhita Wahlia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dayaram Gupta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Bhrngara Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Edhita Wahlia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaswinder Bhangu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Ansa Grewal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Market Drayton City's zone, Jaswinder Bhangu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ansa Grewal came out of the goal and Jaswinder Bhangu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Hyper United's goal looked a bit too open when Bhrngara Mendes came free, but Edhita Wahlia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bhrngara Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edhita Wahlia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Agnibija Malhotra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Aurasa Chattophadhyay sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hyper United's Edhita Wahlia didn't even have to move. Bhrngara Mendes struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Edhita Wahlia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Market Drayton City. The supporters of Hyper United booed when Market Drayton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saran Shrivastav didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Vasant Malhotra notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Market Drayton City's Ansa Grewal. Ansa Grewal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaswinder Bhangu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ansa Grewal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasant Malhotra, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Hyper United's Jaswinder Bhangu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ansa Grewal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jaswinder Bhangu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansa Grewal having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
