Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Ponteland City's Fakir Pujari started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Fakir Pujari tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jagadbala Aulakh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kanvar Dutta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansuka Brar having to interfere. In the 8th minute Kanvar Dutta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ansuka Brar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Poster FC's Jagadbala Aulakh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fakir Pujari in the 11th minute of play. If Manu Chhugani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kanvar Dutta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ansuka Brar having to interfere. Jagadbala Aulakh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fakir Pujari, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Amurtarayas Gaekwad hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Amaracandra Beesla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jagadbala Aulakh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fakir Pujari in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Ponteland City were awarded a corner. Jaguri Tind went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Jaguri Tind got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jagadbala Aulakh quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ashwini Tendulkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jagadbala Aulakh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kanvar Dutta in the 31st minute of play forced Ponteland City's goalkeeper Ansuka Brar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manu Chhugani scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ansuka Brar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kanvar Dutta made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kanvar Dutta in the 52nd minute of play forced Ponteland City's goalkeeper Ansuka Brar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Poster FC's Manu Chhugani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ansuka Brar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute Fakir Pujari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jagadbala Aulakh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kanvar Dutta sped through Ponteland City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ansuka Brar. Gopinath Vaidya took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ansuka Brar. Ponteland City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute, Gopinath Vaidya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manu Chhugani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ansuka Brar made a huge save. Kanvar Dutta struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ansuka Brar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poster FC. When Poster FC's Kanvar Dutta in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponteland City's goalie prevented a goal. Manu Chhugani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Ansuka Brar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Manu Chhugani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palla Kumar's late challenge caught a Ponteland City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Palla Kumar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Poster FC's Palla Kumar got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to Poster FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Palla Kumar hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes, Ponteland City's Aksaya Balil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jagadbala Aulakh came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ponteland City reached it. In the 93rd minute, Kalpana Rattu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manu Chhugani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
