Spectators: 7421 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 150) Jit Naik started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bhavik Bhachu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vasant Malhotra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Upkaar Bedi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Upkaar Bedi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaswinder Bhangu in the 8th minute. When Jit Naik came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Marlow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jit Naik couldn't finish the play. Upkaar Bedi came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Hyper United's Jaswinder Bhangu. But to his dismay, Jaswinder Bhangu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Amanbir Rekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasant Malhotra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Upkaar Bedi having to interfere. Jaswinder Bhangu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Upkaar Bedi having to interfere. If Jit Naik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaswinder Bhangus short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Upkaar Bedi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vasant Malhotra to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Marlow's Amanbir Rekhi got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Vasant Malhotra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyper United's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasant Malhotra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Upkaar Bedi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Hyper United's Edhita Wahlia got control of the ball when Amanbir Rekhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hyper United's zone, Jit Naik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edhita Wahlia came out of the goal and Jit Naik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edhita Wahlia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jit Naik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hyper United booed when Marlow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jit Naik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Upkaar Bedi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaswinder Bhangu, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Vasant Malhotra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Upkaar Bedi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vasant Malhotra in the 89th minute of the match. Marlow's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Hyper United had won, even though Marlow had held more of the ball.
