Adri Kang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasi Mohan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gurpreet Sengupta in the 29th minute of play forced Sowerby Bridge AFC's goalkeeper Atandra Chawla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atandra Chawla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gurpreet Sengupta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasi Mohan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambaka Kumar to make the kick off. One of Sowerby Bridge AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cottered United:s goal. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Cottered United. Gobinda Sharma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gurpreet Sengupta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
