Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rajendar Dhudwal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aparthiva Ahuja in the 6th minute of the match. Aparthiva Ahuja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajendar Dhudwal having to interfere. Aparthiva Ahuja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rajendar Dhudwal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anasin Shetty took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rajendar Dhudwal. Rajendar Dhudwal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Digbhraja Sabnis fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tavistock's protests and gave Digbhraja Sabnis a yellow card for diving instead. When Girijaprasada Ojha came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Lion Warrior Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Girijaprasada Ojha couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Aparthiva Ahuja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajendar Dhudwal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anasin Shetty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Harjeet Paranjpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peshora Batra might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anukula Sran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peshora Batra ran back to his position shaking his head. Aparthiva Ahuja's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rajendar Dhudwal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Buddhajnana Mandal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tavistock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Buddhajnana Mandal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anasin Shetty to make the kick off. Tavistock's Aparthiva Ahuja got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Harjeet Paranjpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anukula Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aparthiva Ahuja struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rajendar Dhudwal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tavistock. 60 minutes into the match, Lion Warrior Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Aparthiva Ahuja came free, but Rajendar Dhudwal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lion Warrior Boys's zone, Anasin Shetty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rajendar Dhudwal came out of the goal and Anasin Shetty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Anasin Shetty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Girijaprasada Ojha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anukula Sran having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Anasin Shetty notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lion Warrior Boys's Rajendar Dhudwal. Rajendar Dhudwal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Harjeet Paranjpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anukula Sran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anukula Sran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harjeet Paranjpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anasin Shetty in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rajendar Dhudwal saved Lion Warrior Boys from getting behind. If Aparthiva Ahuja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rajendar Dhudwal came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Tavistock's Jagdeep Bhosle. But to his dismay, Jagdeep Bhosle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Rajendar Dhudwal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aparthiva Ahuja, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Tavistock were the better team. Tavistock's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
