When Pavitar Akhtar fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bury's protests and gave Pavitar Akhtar a yellow card for diving instead. Pavitar Akhtar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Bodhinmanas Varma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bury's Bodhinmanas Varma got a free kick in the 66th minute. Teja Nahal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuladipaka Biswas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ajakara Deol in the 71st minute of play forced Bury's goalkeeper Aditeya Dalvi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SHARPNEL's zone, Bodhinmanas Varma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuladipaka Biswas came out of the goal and Bodhinmanas Varma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teja Nahal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Bury could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SHARPNEL throughout the match.
