Spectators: 7847 (Terracing: 5887, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dattatreya Kulkarni took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Elementalists booed when Sovrino SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apantaratamas Aulakh didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Harjeet Mallik fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elementalists's protests and gave Harjeet Mallik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Harjeet Mallik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sovrino SC's goalkeeper Lech Dzerwucki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Narottam Dango, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apantaratamas Aulakh got free with Sridhar Shetty in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janaswami Shergill hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Lech Dzerwucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dattatreya Kulkarni in the 23rd minute of play. Sridhar Shetty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kandarpaketu Chauhan in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Satbir Samran in the 27th minute of play forced Sovrino SC's goalkeeper Lech Dzerwucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Sridhar Shetty successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Kandarpaketu Chauhan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sridhar Shetty. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ksitilavabhuj Mehra could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Sridhar Shetty however easily saved by the left post. Didyu Rudrappa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Lech Dzerwucki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dattatreya Kulkarni in the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apantaratamas Aulakh made a kick off. In the 58th minute Kandarpaketu Chauhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sridhar Shetty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Elementalists's goal looked a bit too open when Apantaratamas Aulakh came free, but Sridhar Shetty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute Civarin Barmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sridhar Shetty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janaswami Shergill charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Janaswami Shergill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 85 minutes into the game, Harmage Khatri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Lech Dzerwucki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Apantaratamas Aulakh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
