The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candrabhana Aulakh during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Chinnor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candrabhana Aulakh to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Anilabha Vishwakarma made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Chinnor got a freekick which was hit by Amanroop Ralte. Jagatjita Basu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Divyaprabhava Bhaura in the 54th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Whaplode got a freekick which was hit by Candrabhasu Sangma. Anasvara More in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Javagal Sahota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
