Devamuni Sinha charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devamuni Sinha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castletown City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Asapurna Chadha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çağdaş Ronaldinho's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Cleobury Mortimer FC got a freekick which was hit by Andhraka Solanki. 27 minutes into the match, Cleobury Mortimer FC's goal looked a bit too open when Çağdaş Ronaldinho came free, but Asapurna Chadha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asapurna Chadha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çağdaş Ronaldinho's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Asapurna Chadha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anjasa Bhuppal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Adisesan Takhar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cleobury Mortimer FC's zone, Attilio Vettori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asapurna Chadha came out of the goal and Attilio Vettori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asapurna Chadha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağdaş Ronaldinho in the 42nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Çağdaş Ronaldinho sped through Cleobury Mortimer FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Asapurna Chadha. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Vasan Gupta made the kick off in the second half. Uttam Bain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Çağdaş Ronaldinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Asapurna Chadha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Castletown City's Çağdaş Ronaldinho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dipen Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Asapurna Chadha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Uttam Bain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Serafini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çağdaş Ronaldinho in the 75th minute of play forced Cleobury Mortimer FC's goalkeeper Asapurna Chadha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Çağdaş Ronaldinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Castletown City's Ferdinando Serafini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasan Gupta in the 79th minute of play. Vasan Gupta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uttam Bain in the 84th minute of play forced Castletown City's goalkeeper Ferdinando Serafini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinando Serafini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasan Gupta in the 86th minute of play. If Çağdaş Ronaldinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cleobury Mortimer FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Dorai Choudhary hit a great ball. Çağdaş Ronaldinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Asapurna Chadha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Castletown City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
