The tension between the Real Ahemdabad FC and the Calcuta Athletic Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anupriya Varma made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ashok Johar sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the game, Abhijaya Dindral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Ahemdabad FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calcuta Athletic Rangers the free kick. Anathapinda Shrivastav's late challenge caught a Calcuta Athletic Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anathapinda Shrivastav helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Real Ahemdabad FC got a freekick which was hit by Anathapinda Shrivastav. Dharanija Padda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Krishnamoorthy Grewal made a huge save. With a little luck, Real Ahemdabad FC's Krishnamoorthy Grewal got control of the ball when Dharanija Padda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dhandapani Dhanoa took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anupriya Varma. Anupriya Varma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Calcuta Athletic Rangers were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Real Ahemdabad FC to leave the ground with a draw.
