Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Withinun Tragoonpoom started the match with the kick off. After 7 minutes of play, FC Pattaya's Yuthapoom Kapuknak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Subannet Kenghnu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Woraphong Pongpanich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Subannet Kenghnu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Withinun Tragoonpoom managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pattaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Withinun Tragoonpoom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Subannet Kenghnu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adirek Koohapremkit, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dhungnoi's goalkeeper Subannet Kenghnu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ittipon Chantawichian hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The FC Pattaya fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when FC Pattaya's Yuthapoom Kapuknak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Woraphong Pongpanich fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pattaya's protests and gave Woraphong Pongpanich a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dhungnoi's Pimarn Boonjit got a free kick in the 35th minute. Adirek Koohapremkit was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Subannet Kenghnu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuthapoom Kapuknak, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Withinun Tragoonpoom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pattaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Withinun Tragoonpoom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuthapoom Kapuknak might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Subannet Kenghnu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yuthapoom Kapuknak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute Withinun Tragoonpoom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Subannet Kenghnu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chawalit Pingyos to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuthapoom Kapuknak in the 53rd minute of play forced Dhungnoi's goalkeeper Subannet Kenghnu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dhungnoi's Nattapon Tinsuwan got a free kick in the 54th minute. Yuthapoom Kapuknak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Subannet Kenghnu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Pattaya's Teerachai Vicha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chawalit Pingyos in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnapob Posapsopa in the 59th minute of play forced FC Pattaya's goalkeeper Teerachai Vicha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Subannet Kenghnu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Withinun Tragoonpoom, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Nattapon Tinsuwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Withinun Tragoonpoom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Subannet Kenghnu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Dhungnoi got a freekick which was hit by Sompoth Tanomwong. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Withinun Tragoonpoom in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Subannet Kenghnu saved Dhungnoi from getting behind. If Chawalit Pingyos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dhungnoi's Chawalit Pingyos in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Pattaya's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sittiphon Kumluelerd during the 75th minute. After 80 minutes, Sakchai Seearamrungruang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pattaya and the Dhungnoi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Chawalit Pingyos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dhungnoi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Subannet Kenghnu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuthapoom Kapuknak in the 88th minute. FC Pattaya played a much better game than Dhungnoi and deserved their victory. The Dhungnoi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
