The referee ignored Mighty MustardMonks's protests and gave Nitiwat Vitayamaneegorn a yellow card for diving instead. Nitiwat Vitayamaneegorn hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Wimut Laksanapiya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taiwan Engineers Company's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wimut Laksanapiya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wimut Laksanapiya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanadol Charoenwong having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Arnaiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Taiwan Engineers Company's Amador Arnaiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tanadol Charoenwong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Petru Bobailă charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Bobailă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mighty MustardMonks's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Krailerk Chainet during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Krailerk Chainet kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Inocencio Colon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tanadol Charoenwong skillfully saved the ball. Tanadol Charoenwong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamín Rollheiser in the 96th minute of the match.
